Sphere of action
- kidney, urinary bladder, liver, gall bladder.
Guiding symptoms + keynotes
- All Berberis - pain radiates.
- Stitching pain in liver region and gall bladder, shooting up to left shoulder, worse by pressure, due to stasis of bile.
- Gall stone colic followed by jaundice.
- All symptoms worse from motion, jar, touch.
- Left sided Renal stone pain (right - lyc).
- Neuralgia of fingernails with swelling of small joints.
Urinary system
- Urine :
- while not urinating : constant urging to urinate, Burning pain in urethra.
- Flow : slow
- Sensation : as if some urine still remained after urinating.
- Character : greenish, bloody turbid and full of slimmy mucus, reddish or jelly like sediments.
- Renal colic :
- A/F : renal stone.
- Location and pain : stitching pain from left kidney to ureter to bladder to urethra.
- Sensation : bubbling sensation, stiffness with lameness and painful pressure, in kidney region.
- Haematuria.
