Sphere of action

  • GIT, Heart, kidney, joints. 

Guiding symptoms + keynotes 

  1. A/F : grief, misdeeds of others (staph), from smell of cooking food. 
  2. External impressions such as light, strong odor, contact, bad manners increases his suffering. 
  3. Nausea, vomiting with faintness from odor of cooking food, especially fish, eggs.
  4. Autumnal dysentery, with frequent discharges of stool with mucus and scraping of intestine.
  5. Urine : dark ink coloured may be due to decomposed blood content, with sugar and albumin.

GIT

  • A/F : odor of cooking food.
  • Which causes nausea, vomiting or even faintness. 
  • Distended abdomen, with gas, feels as if it would burst. 
  • Dysentery : autumnal dysentery. 
  • Frequency of stool is very high, but scanty and offensive stool. 

  • Stool contents : transparent, jelly like mucus with white shreddy particles / scrapings of intestine. 

  • Ineffectual efforts to pass the stool (Nux.v.). 
  • Aggravation in autumn, mental exertion. 
  • Ameliorated by lying down. 
  • Association with rheumatic pain. 

Gout / Rheumatism

  • A/F : checked perspiration, heat of summer. 
  • Location : all the joint on body including fingers and toe
  • Sensation : tearing pain during warm weather, stinging pain during cold weather. 
  • Character of pain : flying pain, rheumatic pain shift from joint to joint. Joints become stiff and can not bear to be touched. 
  • Aggravated in evening or night, motion. 
  • Ameliorated by lying down. 
  • Associated with dysentery and dark urine. 


Modalities 

  • Aggravation : sunset to sunrise, motion, smell of food, evening, mental exertion. 
  • Amelioration : lying down.
