Guiding symptoms + keynotes 

  1. A/F : fright, shock, injury, disappoint of love etc
  2. "profuseness of all discharges" is well marked feature throughout the drug. 
  3. Stages of multiple manias which competes to supersede one another. 
  4. Rapid sinking of vital force with complete prostration and collapsed condition (camph.). 
  5. Perspiration : cold, all over the body especially on forehead. 
  6. With icy coldness of body. 
  7. Thirst : large quantity of cold water (bry. -at long interval).

Mind

  • Stages of multiple manias which competes to supersede one another.
  • Three manias : violent mania (bella), religious mania (stramo.), lascivious mania (hyos.).
  • Violent Mania : patient becomes destructive, due to cerebral congestion patient is disposed to bite or tear.
  • Religious Mania : patient talks all the time about God.
  • Lascivious Mania : patient becomes lascivious, patient does not want to cover his private parts and lies naked on the bed. there is maniacal desire to kiss everybody.
  • There is also another state of mind in which the patient is full of despair and hopeless. 
  • Patient does not want to be alone, yet persistently refuses to talk. 
  • Sensation of a lump of ice on the vertex.
  • Thinks she is pregnant or will soon be delivered. 

Respiratory system 

  • Congestion of lungs.
  • Difficult breathing, with sensation of heavy load on the chest, like pneumonia. 
  • With profuse discharge. 

Tongue 

  • White or yellow coated, with red streaks down the middle, feels scalded and increased saliva. 

Stomach

  • Thirst : large quantity of cold water.
  • Craving : acids or refreshing things. 
  • Constrictive pain increased due to warm drinks. 
  • Burning in stomach & oesophagus with spasms.

Cholera 

  • A/F : fright, eating drinking and taking fruits. 
  • Sensation : cutting and constrictive pain in abdomen. 
  • Character of stool : profuse rice-watery stool. (ars.alb.)
  • Colic and cramps during stool with cold perspiration. 
  • Mention every points of Guiding symptoms. 
  • Aggravation : least motion, after warm drink, during stool.

Female 

  • Rigid os. 
  • Profuse menses after colic and crampy pain.

Fever

  • Congestive or intermittent fever. 
  • With extreme coldness and cold perspiration. 
  • Marked thirst. 
  • Cold sweat on forehead and deathly pallor on face. 

Modalities 

  • Aggravation : least motion, after warm drink, during stool.

Relation

  • After camphor in cholera.
